Hartlaub Earns Rookie Of The Week Honors

PROVIDENCE, RI – University of Miami freshman Alicia Hartlaub (Schaefferstown, PA) was named the BIG EAST Rookie of the Week for her performance the week of January 9.

Hartlaub averaged 21 points, 7.5 rebounds and 34.5 minutes in two games last week. She scored a career-high 22 points on 10-for-15 shooting in Tuesday’s loss to Western Kentucky (75-68). The rookie then recorded her second consecutive BIG EAST double-double in UM’s win over Seton Hall, (64-60), managing 20 points and 12 rebounds.

The Hurricanes continue a three-game homestand on Wednesday, January 19 when they host Georgetown. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
