Q: Why did you decide to attend the University of Miami?
A: The University of Miami had everything I wanted in a school: Great academics, great athletics and great location.
Q: Has anyone taken you under their wing, shown you around or helped with your transition to college?
A: A lot of the older girls on the team have been very helpful with my transition. They’ve given me advice about volleyball, school and everything in between.
Q: What has been the biggest adjustment for you since you’ve arrived?
A: The biggest adjustment for me has been not being able to see my family every day.
Q: What made you choose your major?
A: I’ve always wanted to work with kids and help people, so I thought pre-med would be a great fit for me.
Q: What do you like to do outside of volleyball?
A: I like to paint and make art, go to the beach and surf and volunteer with kids.
