Hannah Ellis joined the University of Miami Athletic Training Staff in June 2018. She serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Hurricanes track and field team and oversees coverage of the cross-country program.
A native Texan, Hannah completed her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Oklahoma State University in 2015. She then went on to serve as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at East Carolina University where she completed a Masters in Kinesiology-Sport Psychology (2015-2017), working first with the spirit squads and tennis programs prior to joining the track and field/ cross country teams.
Before joining the ‘U staff, Hannah completed a year internship at The Ohio State University working with the combined men’s and women’s track, field and cross country teams. During her short time as a Buckeye, the men’s track and field team broke a 25-year drought and swept the conference by winning the 2018 Indoor and Outdoor Big10 Track and Field Championships.
Hannah is certified as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist and member of the USA Track and Field Association.
