Daniel Fowler joined the University of Miami Athletic Training Staff in August 2018. He serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Hurricanes football team and oversees coverage of the swimming and diving programs.
Prior to joining the Hurricanes staff, Fowler served a brief stint as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Florida Atlantic University football and women’s tennis programs. He also worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Florida State University (2015-2017), providing coverage for the swimming and diving, men’s basketball, football, women’s soccer, and beach volleyball programs. Following his Graduate Assistantship, Fowler worked as an Athletic Training Fellow with the perennially top-ranked Seminole women’s soccer team during their 2017 season.
A University of Miami graduate and Florida native, Fowler earned his bachelor’s degree (2014) in Athletic Training. In 2013, Daniel was a pre-season sports medicine staff assistant for the Miami Dolphins. He then went on to receive his Masters of Science in Education from Florida State University (2017).
