Alison Mitchell was hired as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for football in 2022. Prior to joining the Canes, she served in the same role at Syracuse University. Prior to that Mitchell was an intern for the University of Michigan Sports Medicine program from 2019-2020, specifically working with football.
A native of Baltimore, she graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. She spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of South Carolina where she received her Masters in advanced athletic training.
Mitchell’s certifications include Graston Module I and Mulligan Concept Manual Therapy for the lower extremity. She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
