2020-21: Started the 2021 season as a member of the 2v4…Took home first place (8:18.69) as a member of the 2v4 at a tri-race against Jacksonville and Stetson (3/26)…Rowed the 2v4 to a third-place finish (8:57.52) at the Sunshine State Invite (4/2)…Moved to the 1v4 for the Lake Wheeler Invite (4/24), posting a second-place finish (8:12.33) (sixth overall) in the Petite Final…Recorded a sixth-place showing (6:56.770) in the 2v8 Grand Final at the ACC Championship (5/15)…Helped Miami to its best team finish (sixth) at the ACC Championship since 2014.

2019-20*: Competed in the 2v8+ and the 3v4+ at the Head of the Indian Creek (10/12)…Placed second in the varsity eight race (14:37.48)…In the 2v4+, finished in third with a time of 16:13.71…Member of the 2v8+ at the Rivanna Romp (11/17), finishing 19th with a time of 15:20.70…Spring season cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak.

2018-19: Member of the 2V8+ at Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational (March 16th-17th)… Finished third in Saturday morning session with a time of 6.19.893… Finished third in Saturday afternoon race with a time of 5.53.013… Finished third in Sunday race with a time of 6.09.882.

2017-18: Throughout March 17 and March 18th, the Hurricanes competed in three sessions of rowing in Oak Ridge, Tennessee as Louisville hosted the competition. On Saturday morning the second Miami Varsity 4 finished fourth with a time of 7:13.691. On Saturday afternoon, the second Miami Varsity 4 finished fourth with a time of 7:38.792. In the Sunday morning sessions, the second Miami Varsity 4 finished fifth with a time of 7:14.126. On March 31st, in Sarasota, Florida, the Canes faced off against UCF and Wisconsin following a scrimmage the day before. The first Varsity 4 finished second behind Wisconsin with a time of 8:34.5. On April 7th, the Hurricanes competed in the Sunshine State Invitational. Miami’s second Varsity 8 placed fifth with a time of 6:42.07. On April 14th and 15th, the Canes competed in the Knecht Cup in Mercer, N.J. The Hurricanes’ second Varsity Eight earned a bronze medal in its event, finishing third in the grand final with a time of 6:47.31. The Canes advanced to the grand final in its event after finishing second in Heat 1 of the preliminaries with a time of 6:51.47. Miami was second only to UPenn in its heat and had the second-fastest overall preliminary time. On April 28th, the Canes traveled to Austin, Texas to compete in the Longhorn Invitational. Miami had five boats competing in several heats prior to their final race of the competition. The Second Varsity Eight crossed the finish line fourth in the B final of its event with a time of 7:23.544. The Hurricanes finished eighth as a team at the Longhorn Invite with 93 points. Miami’s 1V8 scored 48 points, while the 2V8 added 30 and the 1V4 chipped in with 15 points. On May 13th, the Canes traveled to Clemson, S.C. to compete in the ACC Championships. The Second Varsity Eight was fifth in the first heat of its event, posting a time of 6:52.496 that sent the Canes to the petite final in that event. Miami’s 2V8+ then turned in a time of 6:53.881 to finish third in the petite final.

2016-17: Finished the Women’s Collegiate Champ 4+ final with a time of 20:23.414 at Head of the Indian Creek … Member of the Miami ‘B’ boat that finished 46th in the Women’s Club 4+ event at the Head of the Charles with a time of 21:58.437.

High School: Graduated from Paul D. Schreiber Senior High…Rowed for Friends of Port Rowing…Rowed both varsity 8 and varsity 4, sitting stroke, seven, six and three…Helped her club to a 2016 State Championship in the Women’s Varsity 4…Earned a spot on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

Personal: Parents are Louis and Marina Vlahos…Two sisters, Maryann and Christina…Majoring in media management…Enjoys playing basketball and volleyball…Her first language is Greek…Chose Miami for the rowing team and the communication program.
