2007 (JUNIOR): Missed 2007 season recovering from a torn ACL.

2006 (SOPHOMORE): Hampered by injuries much of the season and appeared in only six games (no starts), mostly on special teams…Made one tackle…Played on special teams against Florida State in his first game back after tearing his ACL in the 2005 season opener (no tackles)…Saw action for 10 plays on defense as a reserve safety against FAMU, and played on special teams…Did not play the next two games because of an ankle injury…Returned to action vs. North Carolina, playing on special teams and for four plays on defense…Played on special teams and saw limited action on defense (one solo) against FIU…Did not play the next five games…Returned to action against Boston College, playing on special teams and seeing limited action at safety…Played on special teams in the bowl game against Nevada.

2005 (MEDICAL REDSHIRT): Went into the season as the starting strong safety before suffering a season-ending knee injury…Started at strong safety in the season opener at Florida State but suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the second quarter after only 22 plays…For the game, registered six tackles (four solo)…Underwent arthroscopic surgery on Sept. 21 and missed the remainder of the season.

2004 (FRESHMAN): One of three true freshman who finished the season as a starter…Played in 11 games, making six starts at free safety…For the season, made 73 tackles (sixth on the team), three tackles for loss, two QB pressures, one sack, one forced fumble and one interception…Also blocked two punts…Selected as the team’s Defensive Rookie of the Year (along with LB Romeo Davis)…Did not play in the season opener vs. FSU, marking his only game missed all season…Made his first appearance as a Hurricane a week later vs. Louisiana Tech and made six tackles…Saw considerable action at Houston, notching five tackles and a forced fumble. Also blocked a punt that was recovered by Tavares Gooden for a touchdown less than a minute into the game. Named ACC Rookie of the Week…Made two tackles in limited action at Georgia Tech…Made his first career start against Louisville in place of an injured Brandon Meriweather and tallied 12 tackles…Did not start at NC State but made two tackles and got the first interception of his career…Made four tackles at North Carolina after Meriweather left the game with an injury…Started at free safety vs. Clemson with Meriweather out and recorded four tackles…Started at free safety at Virginia and registered four tackles, one QB pressure and got his second interception of the season…Started at free safety vs. Wake Forest and tallied three tackles, one tackle for loss and a forced fumble. Also blocked a punt that was recovered by Rashaun Jones in the end zone for a touchdown…Started at free safety vs. Virginia Tech and made 12 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and two QB pressures…Started in the Peach Bowl vs. Florida and made seven tackles (three solo) and one pass breakup.
