Mark Schanerman 2012-13 match-by-match
Fall: 1-5 singles, 2-4 doubles.
Won his first match of the season, 6-1, 6-1, win over UNF… Recorded a 2-4 overall doubles fall match record while partnering primarily with Omar Aly (four times) and Henrique Tsukamoto (two times)… Teamed with Omar Aly to defeat the overall No. 1 seed UCF team to advance to the quarterfinals of the Bedford Cup.
Summer 2012
Won ITA Summer Circuit event held at UNC Chapel Hill … Seeded fifth overall in a field of 128 … Defeated second-seeded Kyle Koch of USC in the final to claim the title.

Spring: 2-5 singles, 1-12 doubles.
Posted a 1-4 overall singles dual match record with a 1-1 mark in the ACC … Played four (1-3) matches at No. 6 and one (0-1) at No. 5 … Defeated Virginia’s Phillippe Oudshoorn 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 10-5 to record Miami’s only point against the No. 3 Cavaliers … Matched up with Marco Stancati to defeat Wake Forest for his only doubles victory … Book Buster (3.0 semester).
Prior to UM
Attended Northwestern University from 2009- 2011… Compiled a 7-5 record in dual matches from the No. 5 and 6 positions at Northwestern… Attended high school at Dr. Michael Krop Senior High… Two-time state champion… Won the 2008 National Open Championship… As a senior, he was honored as an All-Dade first team and All-American… In 2006, his high school team placed second nationally…Won the Southeast Region Sportsmanship Award at the 2006 Zonal Championships… Youngest member of the six-person Jr. USA team in the 2005 Maccabiah Games in Israel, finishing fifth in the tournament… Ranked in Top 5 percent of graduating class.

Born Oct. 22, 1990 … Son of Richard Bari… Has an older sister named Nanci… Off the court, he enjoys going bowling… Says that Miami is “paradise”… Also recruited by Northwestern, Michigan, Penn State and William and Mary.
