CAREER: The leading active scorer in college football heading into the 2006 season…UM’s placekicker for the last three seasons has scored 272 career points…Is the fifth-leading scorer among placekickers in school history…Could threaten Carlos Huerta’s all-time scoring record of 397 points in 2006…Candidate for the Lou Groza Award and All-America honors in 2006…Has scored in 37 consecutive games…Has the fourth-most field goals in UM history…Has been successful on 52 of 72 field goals (72.2 percent) in three seasons…On UM’s career list for points scored, trails only Carlos Huerta (397), Todd Sievers (310), Greg Cox (302) and Andy Crosland (292) and is tied with Dane Prewitt (272)…Was successful on 10 consecutive field goal attempts as a rookie, the third-longest streak in UM history…Had converted 99 consecutive extra points before his first miss in 2005, which was the second-longest streak in school history…One of Miami’s most significant contributors as a true freshman in 2003, when he was one of 12 semifinalists for the Lou Groza Award honoring college football’s finest placekicker…That year he provided the winning points in three games and turning one of the team’s most questionable areas into a team strength…Also named first-team All-Big East honoree by the coaches in 2003…Scored 103 points as a freshman, which ranks fifth on UM’s single-season scoring list and fourth for kicking points in a season…Was hampered by a groin injury most of the 2004 season but still managed 90 points…Struggled somewhat in 2005 but still scored 79 points…Graduated in 2005 with a degree in business management and is pursuing a master’s degree in international studies.

2005 (JUNIOR): Led the team in scoring with 79 points…Connected on 15 of 20 field goal attempts (75.0 percent) and 34 of 39 extra points…Missed the first extra points attempts of his UM career…Ranked seventh in the ACC in scoring…Hit his only attempt from inside the 20, went 5 of 5 from 20 to 29 yards, 6 of 8 from 30 to 39 yards, 3 of 6 from 40 to 49 yards, and did not attempt any kicks of 50-plus yards…Scored 10 or more points in three games…Started the season in seventh place in scoring among UM placekickers all time, and moved up to a tie for fifth place with 272 career points by the end of the regular season…In the season opener at Florida State, kicked one extra point and missed two field goals (47, 39 yards). Was not able to attempt a game-tying field goal on the final play because of a bad snap and hold…Scored 12 points at Clemson on three field goals and three extra points. Was 3 for 3 on field goals, hitting from 37, 37 and 19 yards, the last kick in the second overtime to tie the game again. Became ninth player in school history to score 200 points for his career…In the home opener vs. Colorado, scored in double digits for the second straight week, this time with 11 points. Kicked three field goals in five attempts, hitting from 34, 20 and 33 yards but missing from 37 and 43 yards. Also kicked two extra points. With 217 career points, moved into seventh place on school’s all-time list, ahead of Edgerrin James. Also moved into sixth place on UM’s career field goal list with 42, passing Dane Prewitt…Scored nine points vs. South Florida, with two field goals (33 and 49 yards, which tied for the second-longest of his career) and three extra points. With 45 career field goals, moved into a tie for fourth place on the all-time field goal list with Todd Sievers…Scored 10 points in a 52-7 victory over Duke, tying his career high with seven extra points and hitting his only field goal, a 21-yarder. His 46th career field goal moved him past Sievers into fourth place on the school’s career list…At Temple a week later, scored just four points (all extra points) and missed his first extra point attempt, snapping a streak of 99 straight extra points made. Also ended the team’s NCAA-leading streak of 131 straight extra points. Missed a 43-yard field goal…Kicked four extra points vs. North Carolina but did not attempt any field goals. Also punted for his only time of the season out of field goal formation, for 23 yards (downed at the 10-yard line)…Scored nine points in the upset victory at Virginia Tech. Opened the game’s scoring with a 27-yard field goal in the first quarter and later added a 24-yarder as well as three extra points. With two field goals, moved into third place on school’s career list with 48, passing Greg Cox. Also, with nine points, moved into sixth place on UM’s all-time scoring list, passing Danny Miller…Kicked five extra points, but missed two other PAT attempts at Wake Forest (did not attempt any field goals)…Scored four points vs. Georgia Tech, with a 43-yard field goal and one extra point…Scored seven points in the regular-season finale vs. Virginia. Connected on field goals of 40 and 30 yards. Missed his first two extra point attempts, then hit his third. Tied Todd Sievers for fourth place on the all-time list with 51 career field goals…In the Peach Bowl vs. Louisiana State, scored the team’s only points of the game on a 21-yard field goal in the first quarter.

2004 (SOPHOMORE): Led the team in scoring with 90 points…Was successful on all 45 extra point attempts, but hit on only 15 of 24 field goal tries while playing through a groin pull much of the season…Handled the kickoff duties early in the season before giving way to Brian Monroe…Ranked fourth in the ACC in scoring…Successfully hit field goals in 11-of-12 games…Hit his only attempt from inside the 20, went 5-of-6 from 20 to 29 yards, 5-of-8 from 30 to 39 yards, 4-of-6 from 40 to 49 yards, and 0-of-3 from 50-plus yards…Scored four points in the season opener vs. FSU on 1-of-3 FGAs and one extra point…Scored 10 points in a 48-0 victory over Louisiana Tech, with two field goals and four extra points. Did not kick the team’s final two conversion attempts…Tallied eight points in a 38-13 win at Houston, hitting one field goal and five conversions…Scored nine points at Georgia Tech on 2-of-4 field goals and three extra points. Hit a season-long 49-yard field goal…Scored a season-high 11 points vs. Louisville, with 2-for-2 field goals and five extra points…Scored nine points on 1-of-2 field goals and extra extra points at NC State…Kicked four extra points at North Carolina and missed his only FG attempt, a 51-yarder…Scored five points vs. Clemson, with two extra points and 1-of-2 field goals…Totaled seven points on four conversions and 1 of 2 FGAs at Virginia…Tallied 10 points on a 34-yard FG and a season-high seven extra points in a 52-7 win over Wake Forest…Finished the regular season against Virginia Tech with only four points, hitting a 23-yard field goal and one extra point. 2003 (FRESHMAN): Led the Hurricanes in scoring with 103 points…Led all freshmen nationally in scoring…Made 22-of-28 field goal attempts, a 78.6 percentage which led the Big East Conference in accuracy…Also led the Big East in field goals made (22, a Miami single-season record)…Ranked fourth in the Big East in scoring…His 103 points ranks fifth on the UM single-season scoring list and is fourth for kicking points scored in a season…Was a perfect 37-for-37 in extra points attempts…Successfully hit field goals in 11-of-13 games…Earned first-team All-Big East Conference honors as voted by the league’s coaches…Was a first-team Freshman All-American by Rivals.com and The Sporting News…Hit his only attempt from inside the 20, went 9-of-10 from 20 to 29 yards, 7-of-10 from 30 to 39 yards, 4-of-6 from 40 to 49 yards and 1 of 1 from 50-plus yards…Recorded a career-high and school record five field goals (22, 32, 43, 30 and 23 yards) against West Virginia, including a game-winning 23-yarder with 11 seconds remaining…After missing his first collegiate kick, a 42-yard attempt against Louisiana Tech, went on to hit his next 10 attempts through the next four games. The 10 consecutive made field goals is the third-best streak in Miami history…Nailed a then-career-long 44-yard attempt against Syracuse…Went 2-of-3 against Louisiana Tech, hitting from 23 and 32 yards…Was successful on each of his attempts against Florida (27), East Carolina (38), Boston College (32), Tennessee (31, 22) and Rutgers (25, 41)…Was 3-of-4 at Florida State, connecting on attempts from 27, 22 and 19 yards…Hit 1-of-2 against Temple, making a 21-yard attempt…Provided the difference in Miami’s 16-14 win over Florida State in the Orange Bowl Classic. Made field goals of 32, 44 and 51 yards to beat the Seminoles. The 51-yard field goal was the longest of his Miami career and the sixth longest in UM history.

2002 (REDSHIRT): Took a redshirt after playing in one game as a true freshman…Awarded a medical redshirt after suffering a shoulder injury…Was the punter in the opener against Florida A&M, averaging 44.3 yards on three punts, including a long of 53 yards.
