XC Heads to NCAA South Regional Championships

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami cross country teams continues postseason action on Friday at the NCAA South Regional Championships.

Hosted by Northern Alabama, the teams will race at the John Hunt Cross Country Running Park in Huntsville, Ala.

Action begins with the women’s 6K at 9:30 a.m. (ET), followed by the men’s 10K at 10:30 a.m.

Racing for the Hurricanes women’s squad is Daphnee Lavassas, Elle Mezzio, Morgan Johnson, Emma Langlois, Natalie Varela and Bianca Banato. The group has combined this season for four top-10 program 6K times.

On the men’s side, Austen Cannon and Andrew Madden will represent Miami.
