Football Ranked No. 19 in Both Major Polls

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Following a loss to North Carolina on Saturday, the Miami Hurricanes football team fell to No. 19 in both polls released on Sunday.

The Hurricanes (8-2, 7-2 ACC), who were ranked No. 8 in the Amway Coaches’ Poll released last Sunday, have been ranked in the top 20 for nearly the entire season. Miami dropped from its No. 9 ranking in the Associated Press top 25.

The Hurricanes are in the top 20 of both major polls for the 14th straight week; Miami’s highest ranking of the year was No. 7, which was attained in both Oct. 4 polls.
