Hurricanes Ranked No. 7 in Both Major Polls
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Following its first bye week of the year, Miami ascended in both major college football polls released Sunday.
The Hurricanes climbed to No. 7 in both the Associated Press top 25 and the Amway Coaches Poll.
The Hurricanes’ rankings in the two polls are their highest since an identical No. 7 ranking in both polls on Nov. 26, 2017. Miami moved up one spot from their No. 8 ranking by both the AP and coaches last week.
The Hurricanes (3-0, 2-0 ACC) travel to No. 1/1 Clemson (3-0, 2- ACC) for a top-10 matchup on Oct. 10. Kickoff from Death Valley is set for 7:30 p.m. on ABC.
