CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s basketball team wraps up non-conference play Saturday afternoon when it entertains Campbell at the Watsco Center. The first-ever matchup between the Hurricanes and Fighting Camels tips off at 4 p.m.
 
The game airs on the ACC’s Regional Sports Networks, including Fox Sports Florida and Fox Sports South (full list of affiliates). The game also streams online via the WatchESPN app. The Canes’ radio broadcast airs on WQAM 560-AM and also streams online on HurricaneSports.com, Radio.com and the TuneIn app.

Things To Know
• Miami is the only ACC team with five players averaging in double-figure scoring. Each is averaging 12.5 ppg or more.
• Campbell is led by the nation’s leading scorer, Chris Clemons, who is averaging 30.5 ppg.
• Ebuka Izundu has produced back-to-back double-doubles and ranks second in the ACC in field-goal percentage (.702).
• Anthony Lawrence II scored 17 points in each of Miami’s wins last week.
• Zach Johnson needs 18 points to reach 1,500 for his college career (first three years at FGCU).
• DJ Vasiljevic has hit at least one 3-pointer in 24 straight games – the longest current streak in the ACC and sixth-longest in program history.
• Chris Lykes is 11th in the ACC in scoring (16.2).
• Junior forward Dewan Hernandez has been withheld from competition thus far as the University and NCAA review his eligibility.
 
Miami (7-4) has bounced back from a tough stretch to win consecutive games, including a 75-55 runaway victory over Florida Atlantic on Dec. 22. Anthony Lawrence II approached a triple-double against FAU with 17 points, eight rebounds and a career-high eight assists, while Ebuka Izundu recorded his second straight double-double with 19 points and 13 boards.
 
Chris Lykes leads five Miami players who are averaging in double-figure scoring this season at 16.2 points per game. Lawrence (13.7), Izundu (12.9), Dejan Vasiljevic (12.7) and Zach Johnson (12.5) also are averaging in double figures. Miami is scoring 78.0 ppg this year and giving up 68.1 ppg.
 
Campbell is 6-6 this season after splitting a pair of neutral-site games on Dec. 21 and 22 in St. Petersburg, Fla., falling to Austin Peay (88-75) and topping Alabama State (70-69). Clemons leads the team in scoring by far and now has 2,598 points in 109 career games. Andrew Eudy is averaging 9.3 ppg while four others are averaging 6.4 ppg or more. The Camels are scoring 78.5 ppg and giving up 73.9 ppg. Campbell also is shooting a strong 47.4 percent from the field.
 
Miami opens ACC play at 7 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 3) when it welcomes No. 20 North Carolina State to the Watsco Center. The game will broadcast by ESPNU.
