Swim / Dive Set for SMU Classic in Dallas

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Nine members of the University of Miami swimming & diving team will travel to the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center on the SMU campus for the SMU Classic beginning Fri., Oct. 12.

This is the 25th year of the SMU Classic and first on SMU’s campus since 2013. The Hurricanes finished last year’s SMU Classic in fifth place, while then-senior Wally Layland was named the high point diver of the meet.

Day 1 is set for Fri., Oct. 12 while Day 2 will take place Sat., Oct. 13.

Among those teams competing in this year’s event are Iowa, Louisville, Virginia, USC and the host Mustangs.
