CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami men’s basketball team entertains Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. Wednesday in an ACC matchup at the Watsco Center. The ACC’s Regional Sports Networks have the broadcast, including FOX Sports Florida in South Florida and FOX Sports Sun in Central and North Florida. WQAM 560-AM has the local radio broadcast, while the game also streams online through the WatchESPN app (subject to blackout).
 
Fans wishing to attend home Miami basketball games this season are encouraged to use StubHub, the official secondary ticket market for Miami Athletics, to purchase single-game tickets.
 
The first 200 Miami students in attendance will receive free Chick-Fil-A, while the first 250 students will get a Miami Basketball Adidas T-Shirt.

Miami is averaging 75.2 points per game while its opponents average 65.7.5 points per game. Dewan Huell leads Miami in scoring at 13.5 points per game and also is grabbing 6.9 rebounds per game. Reigning ACC Co-Rookie of the Week Lonnie Walker IV has averaged 19.0 points over the last five games to up his season average to 10.8 per game.
 
The Hurricanes will be without the services of sophomore guard Bruce Brown Jr., who will miss approximately six weeks with a left-foot injury. He is scheduled to have surgery on his foot on Thursday. Brown is averaging 11.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
 
Miami last played Saturday in Tallahassee, suffering a 103-94 overtime loss to Florida State. The Seminoles hit a school-record 17 3-pointers in the game, the most triples in any ACC contest since Wake Forest made 18 against Clemson on Feb. 13, 2002.
 
Coming off a 60-55 home loss Saturday against Syracuse, Pitt (8-14, 0-9) is averaging 64.0 points per game and giving up 70.3 per contest. Junior Jared Wilson-Frame leads the team in scoring at 12.8 points per game, while Marcus Carr is averaging 10.4 points per contest.
 
Miami leads the series with Pitt, 20-18, including a 4-1 edge since the Panthers joined the ACC for the 2014-15 season. UM has won four straight against Pitt, including a 67-53 triumph on Dec. 30, at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh. The Hurricanes are 11-7 all-time at home against Pitt, including 1-2 at the Watsco Center/BankUnited Center.
 
In the teams’ first matchup earlier this season, the Hurricanes limited PItt to one point over the final 7:34 of the first half, holding Pitt to 30.8 percent shooting in the opening half and 40.4 percent for the game. Anthony Lawrence II led four Hurricanes in double figures with 12 points.
 
Miami continues ACC play Saturday at Virginia Tech in a 2 p.m. game that will be broadcast on ESPN.
