Kickoff vs. Virginia Set for Noon on Nov. 18
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The University of Miami’s football game vs. Virginia on Nov. 18 will kick off at noon ET on either ABC or ESPN, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday.
The network designation will be announced after Miami’s Nov. 11 matchup against Notre Dame at Hard Rock Stadium.
Miami (8-0, 6-0 ACC) climbed two spots from No. 9 to No. 7 in the Associated Press rankings released Sunday, marking its highest position in that poll this season and its highest since the Oct. 27, 2013 AP poll (also No. 7). The Hurricanes remained at No. 6 in the Amway Coaches Poll for the second straight week.
The Hurricanes, who are ranked in the top 10 of both polls for the fourth straight week, entered the season ranked in both preseason polls for the first time since 2010.
Miami continues a three-game homestand with a rivalry matchup against Notre Dame on Nov. 11 at Hard Rock Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on ABC, 560 WQAM and 990AM ESPN Deportes.
