@CanesWTennis Resumes ACC Play vs. No. 26 NC State
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s tennis team will get back into its conference action at home Friday afternoon.
No. 44 Miami is set to host No. 26 NC State at 2 p.m., at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center after playing a pair of non-conference opponents last week.
The Hurricanes are 14-0 all-time against the Wolfpack, dropping a total of eight points. In the most recent matchup, Miami registered a 5-0 road victory over then-No. 37 NC State on April 9, 2016.

Junior Sinead Lohan leads the group, checking in at seventh in the country. Freshman Estela Perez-Somarriba is ranked No. 76 and redshirt senior Maci Epstein follows her at No. 97.
In doubles, Lohan teams with freshman Dominika Paterova to form the No. 48 pair in the ITA’s rankings.
NC State heads into Friday’s match with an 8-4 (0-2 ACC) record, dropping its last two contests after winning five in a row.
Martina Frantova is the Wolfpack’s lone ranked singles player, placing No. 30 in the nation. In doubles, Frantova pairs with Anna Rogers in the No. 22 spot.
