@HurricanesGolf Ranked No. 10 in the Golfstat Top 25 Poll

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Following its first-place finish at the 2017 UCF Challenge, the University of Miami women’s golf team jumped up four spots in the Golfstat Top 25 poll and are ranked No. 10.

Miami is the second-highest ranked ACC team in the Golfstat Top 25 Poll.

The Hurricanes’ tournament title in Orlando was their second winning performance this season and was the fifth straight top three finish in 2016-17. 

With the tournament win, the Hurricanes finished in the top five for the 34th time and won their fifth tournament under the direction of head coach Patti Rizzo.

As a team, Miami is averaging 285.50 strokes per round.

The Canes return to action in New Orleans on Feb. 19-21 for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate.
