@CanesWTennis Ranked No. 17

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s tennis team checks in at No. 17 in this week’s ITA rankings, as announced Wednesday.

Miami (1-1) was No. 12 in each of the three prior rankings of the 2017 season, opening the year in the top 12 for the seventh time in the past eight seasons.

The Hurricanes are coming off a 1-1 week that included a 4-0 victory over Brown and a 4-2 defeat against Texas A&M, then ranked No. 22 and now No. 15.

Singles and doubles rankings will not be updated from the preseason list for another week, with the first in-season reveal coming Feb. 8.
