CORAL GABLES, Fla. – With more than a week of practice in the books, University of Miami men’s basketball coach Jim Larrañaga spoke with local media about the team, office renovations and Sheldon McClellan playing in the NBA.

Coach L and the Hurricanes open the season with an exhibition game Nov. 2 against Barry, then host Western Carolina on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. for the regular season opener at the Watsco Center.
