@MiamiHurricanes to Hold #CanesFest on Aug. 13
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami coaches and student-athletes will be on full display as the Hurricanes’ athletic department will play host to its annual #CanesFest celebration.
The 2016 edition of #CanesFest will be held at the BankUnited Center on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 5-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
#CanesFest also will feature an autograph session with UM coaches and student-athletes from various sports, including members of the 2016 Miami Hurricanes football team. The official #CanesFest poster is the only item that student-athletes may sign during the autograph session.
Fans who are looking to obtain autographs from this year’s football team must pick up a voucher to gain access for football autographs. Autograph voucher distribution will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the ticket office windows of the BankUnited Center.
Coach and student-athlete autographs will run from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
This year’s #CanesFest will feature

-Pictures with Sebastian and the Miami Maniac
-Giveaways for kids
-Adidas gear will be on sale courtesy of the UM Bookstore
-The UM Sports Hall of Fame
2016 Miami Hurricanes football tickets will be on sale at #CanesFest, as well as a Select-a-Seat event for remaining 2016-17 Hurricanes men’s and women’s basketball season tickets.
Fans attending #CanesFest should park in the surface lots adjacent to the BankUnited Center. Those driving to #CanesFest should note that Merrick Drive is currently closed due to construction.
