Monroe Soccer Camps Set for the Summer

CORAL GABLES, Fla. University of Miami head soccer coach Mary-Frances Monroe has announced the dates for her 2016 camps.

The Mary-Frances Monroe Hurricanes Soccer Camps will have five dates this summer, with four in June and one more in July, all at Cobb Stadium on the University of Miami campus.

Included among the dates are three youth camps for individuals ages five through 14. Boys and girls aged six to 14 can participate in the full day camps, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while girls aged five to seven, can take part in the half day camps from 9 a.m. to noon.

The full day camps are $295 per session and the half day camps cost $160, with both including an adidas camp T-shirt. Discounts for participating in multiple camps and bringing a sibling are available, as are discounts for UM employees. The dates of the camps are June 13-16, June 20-23 and June 27-30.

The University of Miami Elite Soccer Camp will be held June 20-22. Open to girls ages 13 through 18, the camp will run from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., each day and costs $175 to attend.

Finally, the last camp of the summer will be the University of Miami Soccer ID Clinic, which is set to go from July 30-31. High school girls from age 13 to 18 are invited to participate at a cost of $250. Play will begin at 9 a.m., both days. Action on the 30th will conclude at 3 p.m., and the following day will wrap up at noon.
