Lomacki Ends Run in Doubles Finals at Futures

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – on Friday, University of Miami sophomore Piotr Lomacki and partner Jared Hiltzik battled to three sets in the doubles finals of the main draw at the USTA Futures in Birmingham, Ala.

Lomacki and Hiltzik fell behind early to the top-seeded duo of Cameron Silverman and Wil Spencer, coming up short in the first set. Lomacki and Hiltzik then battled back with a win in the second set, but in the end, the duo fell in the third set tiebreaker, 6-3, 3-6, 10-3.
