Learn to Play Like a Cane at VB Skill Clinics

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami volleyball program will offer a series of skills clinics in the coming weeks for those interested in learning to play volleyball like the Hurricanes.

The clinics focus on improving skill and technique through drills and other exercises that are meant to help a player develop in all facets of volleyball. Miami’s clinics will provide instruction in serving, passing, attacking, setting, blocking and defense.

Each session costs $60 per person and the clinics are open to any and all entrants between grades 6 through 12, but space is limited. The clinics will be held at the home of Hurricanes volleyball, the James L. Knight Sports Complex.

There are two sessions scheduled for October and four in November. The next opportunity to attend a Miami volleyball clinic is at 5 p.m. on Oct. 19 followed by a clinic on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m.

The first clinic available in November will take place at 5 p.m. on Nov. 2, following by clinics on Nov. 8, Nov. 15 and Nov. 22 that are all scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
