@CanesFutbol Releases 2015 Broadcast Schedule
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami soccer team will have 10 of its matches during the 2015 season broadcast live, head coach Mary-Frances Monroe announced Monday.
All 10 of those matches will be shown on ESPN3, with one also televised on RSN. Seven of Miami’s eight home matches this season will be available on ESPN3.
“We couldn’t be happier to bring national exposure for the team,” Monroe said. “We are moving now in the right direction as a program and are excited to showcase the quality of soccer this group will produce.”
The Hurricanes’ ESPN3 slate will begin with the team’s home opener Aug. 27 at 7:00 p.m. against eighth-ranked Florida. Then, on Aug. 30 at 1:00 p.m., Miami will host No. 17 UCF on ESPN3.
Eight of the Hurricanes’ 10 ACC contests in 2015 will be shown on ESPN3, starting with the opening conference match on the road at Wake Forest Sept. 18 at 7:00 p.m. Miami will then trip to Louisville for another ESPN3 match Sept. 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Following the match against the Cardinals, the Hurricanes will return to Cobb Stadium for four consecutive matchups on ESPN3: Sept. 27 against No. 22 Clemson at 1:00 p.m., Oct. 2 against ninth-ranked Notre Dame at a time to be announced, Oct. 8 against Duke at 7:00 p.m., and Oct. 11 against NC State at 1:00 p.m.
Miami’s next match on ESPN3, a road tilt at Syracuse will be broadcast on RSN as well. The Orange will host the Hurricanes Oct. 22 at 8:00 p.m. Miami’s regular season finale, a home match against seventh-ranked North Carolina, will be on ESPN3 Oct. 31 at 7:00 p.m.
