Darquea Closes Out Play #USWomensOpen
LANCASTER, Pa. – University of Miami sophomore women’s golfer Daniela Darquea concluded play at the 2015 United States Women’s Open Friday afternoon at the par 70 Lancaster Country Club.
The Quito, Ecuador native shot an impressive second round tally of even par 70. Darquea shot even par on every hole she played during the second round and did not record a single bogey.
Despite missing the cut, Darquea’s second round 70 was tied for the best score among the 25 amateurs that competed in the field. In addition, her second round tally was tied for 19th among the entire tournament field.
Darquea opened the tournament with a first round score of 78 as she closed with a two-round score of 148.
