M. Basketball to Throw First Pitch Wednesday

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s basketball team will throw out the first pitch at 5:45 p.m. on March 25, prior to the Hurricanes baseball game against Florida Gulf Coast at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.

The basketball team will be available to media following the first pitch toss, behind the home dugout, by the batting cages. The team will also have media availability on Friday prior to the team leaving for New York.

The Miami basketball team defeated Richmond Tuesday night in Virginia to earn a spot in the Final Four of the NIT to be played in Madison Square Garden on March 31, the Canes’ first berth in the NIT semifinals.
