Four Canes Take Part in Senior All-Star Games

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami football seniors Anthony Chickillo, Jonathan Feliciano and Shane McDermott took part in the East-West Shrine Game, while Olsen Pierre suited up in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday.

In the East-West Shrine Game, Chickillo helped the East Team to a 19-3 win over the West Team. Chickillo helped anchor a defensive unit that limited the West Team to just 93 total yards. He also tallied a sack on third-down which pinned the West inside its 10.

In addition, McDermott helped pave the way for 126 rushing yards as he saw time at center.

Pierre’s American Team defeated by the National Team 17-0 in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

The final senior all-star game of the year will feature Phillip Dorsett, Ladarius Gunter, Denzel Perryman and Clive Walford as they will take part in the 2015 Reese’s Senior Bowl on Jan. 24 in Mobile, Ala. The game will be aired on NFL Network.
