CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team will travel to Gainesville, Fla., to compete in the Florida Invitational hosted by the University of Florida at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex from Nov. 7-9.

A total of seven Canes will be participating in both singles and doubles play in the tournament, including seniors Henrique Tsukamoto and Wilfredo Gonzalez, sophomore Bernard Tefel and four freshmen, Kevin Bondar, Andrew Harrington, Nile Clark and Christian Langmo.

The Hurricanes will face top competition, as Miami will be one of four schools who have players competing in the tournament. Opponents include: Florida, North Florida, and Texas.

The Canes will be looking to come out strong in Gainesville, as this is culmination of the fall season for the men’s tennis team.

Make sure to mark your calendars, as the Hurricanes will be back in action in January when they host Florida Atlantic on Jan. 18 and UCF on Jan. 19.

The Canes hit the court on Friday at 9 a.m. starting with doubles action at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
