Vogel Earns ACC Co-Specialist Honors

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami sophomore punter Justin Vogel was named Co-Specialist of the Week by the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Monday afternoon following his performance this past week against Duke University.

Vogel (Tampa, Fla./Berkeley Prep) earned his first conference player of the week honor after he had eight punts for 347 yards (43.4 average). In addition, Vogel tied a season-best with a 56-yard boot and dropped three punts inside the 20-yard line.

Vogel shared the weekly honor with Clemson punter Bradley Pinion.

Miami returns to action this week as it heads to Georgia Tech for its matchup with the Yellow Jackets. The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN2.
