CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami has announced a 15-year agreement with the Biltmore Golf Course which will make the Biltmore the official home course and practice facility of the Hurricanes golf team.

Made possible by gifts and pledges to the Women’s golf program and the partnership with the Biltmore Hotel Golf Management Group, The University of Miami women’s golf program will have access to a brand new 6,000 square-foot tee box, along with an indoor hitting facility outfitted with state-of-the art video and swing technology. The facility will also include practice tees, a putting green and a short-game practice area.

“The Biltmore is one of the most prestigious hotels and golf courses in South Florida and will serve as a wonderful backdrop for our Women’s Golf Program,” head coach Patti Rizzo said. “Having this amazing practice facility and Donald Ross-designed course as our home will provide our ladies with the best facility in collegiate golf and serve as a catalyst for the future successes of our student-athletes and program.”
