MBB Travels To Brooklyn For Barclays Matchup

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Hello, Brooklyn! The University of Miami men’s basketball team has accepted an invitation to participate in the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational hosted by the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Monday, Dec. 22.

The Holiday Invitational is a part of a trifecta of events including the Brooklyn Hoops Winter Festival on Sunday, Dec. 28 and Brooklyn Hoops on Saturday, Jan. 3.

Miami is slated to face the Providence Friars in the first game of the Holiday Invitational.

Providence is looking to return to the NCAA tournament for the second consecutive year after winning the BIG EAST Tournament and losing to North Carolina in the second round a season ago.

The second game of the Holiday Invitational features two local New York programs—Fordham University and Manhattan College. Manhattan reached the NCAA tournament last season.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m. and will be available for purchase at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

The Brooklyn Hoops 3-Pack presented by Applebees will be obtainable by fans as well, which includes: one ticket to one game, a free throw shot following that game, a 20% discount on tickets to other games included in the Brooklyn Hoops series and presale priority for A10 Championship individual tickets.
