Times, TV Announced for First Three Games
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Kickoff times and TV designations were announced for each of the Miami Hurricanes’ first three football games for the 2014 season, ESPN announced Tuesday.
As previously announced, Miami will open the 2014 season on the road against new ACC member Louisville on Labor Day night at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The Hurricanes open their home slate with back-to-back nonconference home games Sept. 6 against Florida A&M and Sept. 13 against Arkansas State. The Sept. 6 game vs. FAMU will kick at 7 p.m. on ESPN3, while the following week’s game against the Red Wolves will kick at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
Additionally, Miami’s Thursday night game Oct. 23 at Virginia Tech will kick at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
With the announcement of FAMU and Arkansas State, the Hurricanes’ first four games to open the 2014 season will be televised on the ESPN family of networks. Miami’s fourth game of the season Sept. 20 at Nebraska will kick at 8 p.m. ET on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
