#ProCanes Report: Scott Continues in Spain
Durand Scott is a contributing factor in the team’s current four-game winning streak. In this stretch, he is averaging 7.5 points per game, and an assist in each of the games. In his most recent appearance, Scott played 17 minutes in the 77-56 victory over La Bruixa d’Or Manesa.
NBA
James Jones – Miami Heat – Jones remains in his 3-point specialist role. Jones averages 3.1 points per game, hitting 55 percent from three and 42.3 percent from the field.
Shane Larkin – Dallas Mavericks / Texas Legends – After playing in 36 NBA games with the Dallas Mavericks, Larkin is splitting time with the NBA D-League’s Texas Legends since the beginning of February. With the Mavericks, Larkin is averaging 3.2 points, 1.7 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.1 rebounds per game. He has played one game for the Legends so far, and notching 33 minutes, scoring nine points, seven assists, and collecting three rebounds.
John Salmons – Toronto Raptors – Salmons still stands strong as an excellent option off the bench by contributing 5.8 points per game, 2.2 assists per game, and totaling up 24 minutes per game. In Toronto’s most recent win against Atlanta, he collected four rebounds and added two assists.
D-League
Will Frisby – Fort Wayne Mad Ants – Frisby is playing consistently alongside former Miami Hurricane, Trey McKinney Jones. Frisby is shooting over 50 percent from the field, contributing an average of 6.1 points per game, and maintaining 15.3 minutes per game.
Robert Hite – Canton Charge – Hite has compiled 23 points during the last three-game stretch. The Canton Charge recently put together a 96-82 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Lance Hurdle – Springfield Armor – The Armor have three wins in their last four games with the help of Hurdle who is averaging 5.0 points per game. He carries an impressive 89 percent free throw percentage this season.
DeQuan Jones – Reno Bighorns – Jones is a major factor in Reno’s starting lineup this season. In an average of 28.4 minutes per game, he is averaging 12.4 points per game while shooting over 52.4 percent from the field. In Jones’ last three games, he has racked up an impressive 15.3 points per game.
Trey McKinney Jones – Fort Wayne Mad Ants – TMJ is a key contributor to the starting lineup for second place, Fort Wayne. Leading the team with 34.2 minutes per game, McKinney Jones is scoring 15.8 points per game. Fort Wayne is currently only one half of a game out of first place in the East Division.
Kenny Kadji – Rio Grande Valley Vipers – In Rio Grande’s last two victories, Kadji has averaged 22 minutes per game, an increase from about 10.8 minutes per game from the first four games of the season. In this two game stretch, he has totaled 15 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists. Rio Grande currently sits atop the Central Division with a 23-8 record.
Overseas
Brian Asbury – Hapoel Holon (Israel) – Asbury is still a major factor for Holon, leading the team with 32 minutes per game, 14.2 points per game, all while shooting an impressive 52.1 percent from the field. He has scored double figures in each of the last five games.
Julian Gamble – St. Vallier Basket Drome (France) – As a member in the starting role, Gamble has been one of the team’s strongest contributors. He has totaled over 20 points in five of the last six games. This season, he is averaging about 27.9 minutes per game, shooting 59.3 percent from the field.
Malcolm Grant – LF Basket Norrbotten (Sweden) – After opening the year strong with double figure point totals in his first four games for the Halifax Rainmen (Canada), Grant signed with LF Basket at the end of January. He has yet to play a game with his new team.
Anthony King – Artland Dragons (Germany) – King is contributing to the Dragons while he averages 24.9 minutes per game, 12 points per game, and gathers 6.3 rebounds per game. He has totaled 37 points and brought in 23 rebounds in the three games.

In this stretch, he is averaging 7.5 points per game, and had an assist in each one of these games. This season, Scott averages over 13.1 minutes per game and around 4.9 points per game. In his most recent appearance, Scott played 17 minutes in the 77-56 victory over La Bruixa d’Or Manesa.
Adrian Thomas – Shimane Susanoo Magic (Japan) – In the last four of five games, Thomas has totaled double digit point totals. This season, he has played in 31 games, averaging about 26.1 minutes per game, and 9.9 points per game. More recently against the Saitama Broncos, he played 40 minutes, totaled 16 points, and six rebounds.
