Minorities in Sports Networking Event
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami Athletics Department will host “Minorities in Sports Networking Event” at the BankUnited Center prior to the Feb. 19 men’s basketball game vs. Notre Dame.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. with networking scheduled for 7-7:45 p.m. and a panel discussion lasting from 7:45-8:45 p.m. Miami will host Notre Dame at 9 p.m.
Sports Networking Night attendees will also receive a ticket to the game, and the first 75 to purchase will receive the opportunity to network with panelists on the VIP suite level. A cash bar will also be available during the panel discussion.
Miami Associate Athletic Director Tim Wise will moderate the panel, which includes:
Pat Chun, Athletic Director – Florida Atlantic University;
Tery Howard, Chief Information Officer – Miami Dolphins;
Michael McCullough, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Office – Miami Heat;
Jose Sotolongo, Executive Director – Miami-Dade Sports Commission
