Men's Tennis To Host Texas Tech and USF
CORAL GABLES, Fla. -The University of Miami men’s tennis team will host No. 54 Texas Tech University Friday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m., then take on the University of South Florida Saturday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. Both matches will be at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center in Coral Gables.
The Canes hold a 3-1 season record after defeating Bethune-Cookman University and Florida A&M last weekend.
This weekend the senior duo of Gabriel Flores and Diego Soto will try to continue their doubles winning streak, which is currently at 4-0. Senior Omar Aly, sophomore William Albanese and freshman Bernard Tefel will try to stay undefeated in their singles matches, as well.
No. 54 Texas Tech is coming into their sixth dual match with a 3-2 season record. The Red Raiders are coming off a win against Rice.
The University of South Florida is currently undefeated with a 3-0 season record after defeating the UNF Ospreys at USF Varsity Tennis Courts in Tampa.
