Hurricane Fans Achieve Fourth Sellout
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 2013 men’s basketball season has been a record-breaking campaign both on the court and in the stands. For the fourth time this year, the Hurricanes will play before a capacity crowd at BankUnited Center as tonight’s ACC matchup with Virginia is now sold out.
Prior to this season, Miami fans had packed the BUC to its current capacity configuration of 7,972 only once – a 2011 matchup with Duke. This year, games againstDuke, Florida State, North Carolina and now Virginia have all reached asellout.
Now 21-3 overall and 12-0 in the ACC, the No. 2-ranked Hurricanes have just three games remaining on the home schedule after Tuesday. Currently, fewer than 700 tickets remain for the Hurricanes’ Feb. 27 game vs. Virginia Tech and fewer than 2,000 tickets are available for its March 6 game vs. Georgia Tech. The Senior Day matchup with Clemson has fewer than 30 scattered single seats remaining.
Visit OperationSellout.com for tickets or to view remaining availability. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling 305-284-2263 or in person at the BankUnited Ticket Office (M-F, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.).
