SOLD OUT

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Operation Sellout was a success as the Top 25 matchup between No. 25 Miami and No. 1 Duke is officially sold out.

Wednesday will be just the second time that the BankUnited Center will have a capacity crowd of 7,972 under its current configuration. The first occasion came against Duke on Feb. 13, 2011.

The game with the Blue Devils isn’t the only hot Canes ticket right now. There are fewer than 300 tickets available to the classic rivalry game between the Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles on Sunday at 6 p.m. To purchase tickets to the Canes vs. Noles, act quickly by calling 305-284-2263 or visiting OperationSellout.com.

Fans with a purchased ticket are encouraged to arrive to the BankUnited Center early on Wednesday evening. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and as usual, traffic is expected to be heavy for those utilizing US-1 to access the arena.

Students can begin lining up at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in hopes of being one of 1,300 students with complimentary admission to the game. All of the student ticketing information is available on the Men’s Basketball home page and at THIS LINK. UM expects to have more than 1,300 students in the building for just the seventh time in BankUnited Center history.

The ESPN crew of Dick Vitale, Dan Shulman and Jeannine Edwards will call the game. Last season, 7,261 fans saw the Canes down No. 15/16 Florida State on Feb. 26, and Miami drew 7,071 for the Feb. 15 game against No. 8/7 North Carolina, including 1,552 students.

Prior to the 2006-07 season, the capacity in the BankUnited Center was 7,000 and UM reached the sellout mark on eight occasions under that configuration.
