2013 Hurricane Club Renewal Information
In the next few days allHurricane Club members will receive their 2013 renewal package via US Mail.
The Hurricane Club, nowin our 41st year, provides scholarship and operational supportfor University of Miami Student-Athletes. This support allows us to compete atthe highest possible level, and provides our student-athletes with thescholarships and services needed to create an environment that fostersexcellence in academics, athletics and life.
- All Hurricane Club donations are due in full or on an approved payment plan by Thursday, January 31, 2013.
- All Hurricane Club Members who renew in full or on payment plan by January 31st will receive a bonus of 50 priority points to their account.
- Ticket invoices for 2013 Football & 2013-2014 Men’s Basketball will be mailed when your Hurricane Club membership is renewed in full or on an approved payment plan.

2013 also marks thefirst year of our incentive-laden It Starts with YOU Campaign.In order to continue to grow our membership base we need YOUR help inattracting NEW Hurricane Club Members. If 20% of our active 5,500 membersreferred just one new member every year we would double our membership basewithin a 5-year period.
The It Starts with YOU campaign works like this:
1. Refer us one NEW Member – Both YOU and the NEWmember will receive a limited-edition BUILDING CHAMPIONS Hat.
2. Become a Canes Rep – Make a pledge to refer 10New Members and become a part of the Hurricane Club network of volunteersreceiving special access to Hurricane Club events and hospitality.
