CORAL GABLES, Fla. – With the Nov. 9 season opener on Friday, University of Miami men’s basketball Coach Jim Larranaga spoke to the local media about practice and the progress of his team.

The Canes open the regular season Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. against Stetson in the BankUnited Center. The game is part of a doubleheader with the women’s basketball team, which tips off immediately following the completion of the men’s game.
