ACC Announces League Basketball Schedule
Greensboro, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today its conference basketball schedule for the 2012-13 season. For the first time in league history, member schools will play 18-game ACC schedules and all 108 contests are scheduled to be broadcast live.
Miami will face Duke on ESPN twice (Jan. 23 and March 2) and has three matchups on either ESPN or ESPN2, against North Carolina (Jan. 10 and Feb. 9) and at Florida State on Feb. 13.
Currently, 88 of the 108 conference games (81.5 percent) will be televised on an ESPN network, CBS or carried on the ACC Network.

Twenty-nine games will be shown on ESPN/ESPN2, 20 on ESPNU and three on CBS. The ACC Network will broadcast 36 ACC games while the league’s Regional Sports Networks (Comcast SportsNet, FOX Sports South/FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports Florida, NESN) will carry 20 contests. The North Carolina at Duke game on February 13 will be broadcast by both ESPN and the ACC Network.
All games, with the exception of the three CBS telecasts, will be available through WatchESPN, accessible online at WatchESPN.com and through smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

For a second year in a row, 10 of ESPNU’s broadcasts will be aired exclusively on the ACC Sunday Night Basketball package which is preceded by a half-an-hour ACC Sunday Night Pregame show. This year’s ACC Sunday night package tips off with Virginia hosting North Carolina at 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 6.
In addition, two ACC rivalry games will be featured as part of the ESPN “College GameDay” schedule. ESPN will be in Raleigh, N.C., on Saturday, Jan. 26, for the battle between North Carolina and host NC State. That game marks the Wolfpack’s first-ever time as a “GameDay” basketball host. The second “College GameDay” will take place on Saturday, March 9, when Duke and UNC tangle in Chapel Hill, N.C., on the final weekend of the regular season. The conference schedule will begin on the first weekend in January, with five games slated for Saturday, January 5, and one on Sunday, January 6.
The 2013 ACC Tournament at the Greensboro (N.C.) Coliseum on March 14-17 will be televised on a variety of ESPN platforms including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and on the ACC Network.
