Hurricanes Rise to No. 12 in Soccer Rankings
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The University of Miami women’s soccer team rose to No. 12 in the newest poll released by Soccer America this week.
Miami (1-1-0) was also receiving votes for the second straight week in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Division I Poll. The Hurricanes, who upset No. 21 Florida on the road at Pressly Stadium 4-1 before falling to USF 1-0, are preparing for their home opener Fri., Aug. 24 against Morehead State at Cobb Stadium.
