Canes Pep Rally: Beat Ohio State
CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The season’s third Hurricane Hotline radio show is set to air on Tuesday, Sept. 13, four days before UM’s highly-anticipated home opener against Ohio State at Sun Life Stadium.
The show, which will broadcast live from Monty’s in Coconut Grove from 7-9 p.m., will feature segments with head coach Al Golden, defensive line coach Jethro Franklin as well as a roundtable discussion with several UM defensive linemen.
Hosts Joe Zagacki and Don Bailey Jr. will preview one of the most talked about home games in years, as the Canes get set to host the rival Buckeyes in a nationally-televised game on ESPN on Saturday, Sept. 17.

The live broadcast at Monty’s will also coincide with the second Canes Pep Rally of the football season, as fans are invited to come out and join in the festivities leading up to the big game.
Those in attendance will have the opportunity to meet members of the football team, ask questions live on the air and win prizes from the WQAM staff throughout the event.
