Weather Delay for Canes Baseball vs. Virginia

Durham, N.C. – With the University of Miami leading the University of Virginia, 2-0, in the bottom of the second inning, there is a weather delay at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Severe storms are moving across the state of North Carolina, and the game is scheduled to resume tonight at 6 (weather permitting).

The game was stopped with a 1-1 count to the UMiami batter Stephen Perez, as the game was stopped at 11:38 a.m. The starting pitchers for the two teams are Will Roberts (UVa) and Eric Whaley (UM), whom are not expected to return on the hill when the game continues.
