CORAL GABLES, Fla.- University of Miami Director of Athletics Shawn Eichorst has announced the hiring of Jim Larranaga (LARE-uh-NAY-guh) as the 12th head coach of the men’s basketball program. Eichorst and Larranaga addressed the media at a press conference at 7 p.m. on Friday in the UM Field House, located next to the BankUnited Center.
