BASEBALL GAMEDAY CENTRAL: UM vs. Virginia Tech - March 13

With wins in the first two games of the weekend series, the University of Miami baseball team looks for a series sweep of conference foe Virginia Tech at Alex Rodriguez Park on Sunday, March 13, at 1 p.m. Today’s game will feature a live video stream provided through Canes All-Access, with audio provided by WVUM 90.5 FM – the student voice of the Miami Hurricanes.

Miami (7-8, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) will throw sophomore right-hander Eric Whaley on the mound today, while the Hokies of Virginia Tech (10-6, 0-2 ACC) counter with senior right-hander Joe Parsons. Whaley enters with a 2-1 record and an even 3.00 ERA. Parsons is 3-0 in four appearances, holding a 0.95 ERA on the campaign.
