Dragland, a transfer from the University of Alabama – a native of Woodinville, Wash., was third after the preliminary round with a score of 291.25. In the finals, she produced a score of 304.25 in order to finish in second place behind Maren Taylor of Texas.

After the preliminary round of dives, Dorman sat in third place – trailing only two-time national champion David Boudia (Purdue) and All-American Drew Livingston (Texas).

The final day of competition takes place on Saturday back at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. All divers will climb to the 10-meter platform for the final day of diving.

Miami swimming will be in action on Saturday as well, competing against Vanderbilt at home in a dual meet at the Whitten University Center Pool at 11 a.m. Admission to that event is free.
