CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Rivalry week sometimes feels like a month with the anticipation around the big game. This Thursday night will help make the wait a little easier, with Hurricane Hotline and Hurricane Gameday set to bring fans inside access into the storied Miami-Florida State rivalry.

As is the case every Thursday throughout the remainder of the season, Joe Zagacki and Don Bailey Jr. will be live at Monty’s in Coconut Grove to broadcast Hurricane Hotline from 7-9 p.m. on 560 WQAM. This Thursday, not only will head coach Randy Shannon and Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt be in attendance at Monty’s, but former FSU coach Bobby Bowden will be a guest on the show in the second hour, giving fans a special inside look at one of sport’s biggest rivalries.

Fans in attendance at Monty’s will get a chance to speak with both Shannon and Hocutt, ask questions live on the air, and win prizes from the WQAM staff throughout the event. Fans listening on the radio can also send questions to the `Canes radio team via Twitter @hurricanesports.com.

Before fans head out to Monty’s though, find a seat on the couch and check out a brand new edition of Hurricane Gameday featuring head coach Randy Shannon. Tune into CSS at 5:30 p.m. to catch coach Shannon’s take on Miami’s win at Clemson as well as the upcoming game against the Seminoles. In addition, the show will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the team’s trip to Clemson, a segment on UM students tailgating and a unique glimpse into the Miami-FSU rivalry.

No. 13 Miami (3-1) and No. 23 FSU (4-1) will kick off Saturday at 8 p.m. at Sun Life Stadium. Less than 1,000 tickets remain, with only club seats beginning at $295 left for purchase. Fans interested in purchasing tickets can visit www.HurricaneSports.com, call 1-800-GO-CANES or visit the Hurricane Ticket Office in the Hecht Athletic Center on UM’s campus from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monty’s is located at 2550 S. Bayshore Drive, Coconut Grove, FL, 33133. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to get a table near the action. Hourly specials will be available throughout the show.
