Hurricanes Return to Top 25

Coral Gables, Fla. – – After a thrilling win at No. 18 Florida State, Miami cracked the top 25 of both the Associated Press and USA Today coaches’ poll released both Tuesday. The Hurricanes are No. 20 in the AP poll and No. 22 in the coaches’ poll.
UM returns to the top 25 after a brief ranking last season when Miami was ranked 23rd in the AP poll after a 16-14 win over Virginia Tech. The No. 20 ranking is the highest the Hurricanes have been since a No. 17 ranking on Sept. 10 2006 in the AP poll.
Miami takes the weekend off before returning to action for its home opener next Thursday, Sept. 17 against No. 13 Georgia Tech.
