2009 UM CELEBRITY WAITER DINNER

Have you ever wanted your favorite coach or student-athlete to be your waiter for an evening?

On Monday, May 18, 2009, you will have this opportunity. The University of Miami Hurricane Club is hosting the 2009 UM Celebrity Waiter Dinner at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse in Coral Gables. With 150 guests and approximately 25 coaches and student-athletes serving as celebrity waiters, last year’s event raised almost $18,000 for student-athlete scholarships at the University of Miami.

This year’s event will feature a reception, full course dinner, silent and live auction, and great raffle prizes in an exciting environment. For $1,200 you can purchase a VIP table of eight, which includes a waiter from your choice of sport, recognition at the event, and special gift or you can purchase individual tickets at $100 each. The reception and silent auction will begin at 6:00 pm with a full course dinner and live auction at 7:00 pm.
